Greece Is was a premium publishing brand under the Kathimerini newspaper umbrella, producing beautiful, high-quality travel and culture magazines for some of Greece’s most prestigious hospitality and airline clients. These print publications demanded the highest editorial standards, combining compelling storytelling with luxury production values.
As lead copy-editor and proofreader, the role involved ensuring that every piece of text across multiple issues met the exacting standards required by both the Greece Is brand and its clients. This included:
- Copy-editing and proofreading feature articles, travel guides, and cultural pieces across multiple issues
- Ensuring consistency of style, tone, and accuracy across contributions from multiple writers
- Working to tight production schedules and print deadlines
- Maintaining the premium editorial voice that the brand demanded
The work spanned the full four-year tenure at Greece Is, during which time magazines were produced for Aegean Airlines (Greece’s national carrier), Costa Navarino (the Peloponnese luxury resort), Hilton Athens, Hotel Grande Bretagne, and other prominent clients.
